I've just been doing a job recently where I had to paint a old fence that is brownish red in colour with ronseal forest green but the problem is the paint doesn't seem to take to the fence and what I mean by that is that I paint one of the boards thickly with the ronseal and a hour later the fence still just looks brownish red? Should my client get different paint or is the problem because he's trying to paint the fence with a lighter colour really?
