Black granite worktop stained from drain unblocker DIY hints, tips and solutions to the removal and repair of marked and stained areas

Hi,

I moved into a house with lots of black granite worktops, with the one in the bathroom being stained. The previous owner advised that they spilt drain unblocked on the worktop and then wiped it off, but left it wet.

Any advice?

I have used various cleaners without any success, I guess the drain unblocked has bleached the granite.
