Hello,
I am conversting a integral garage, having it bricked up and window installed.
Question I have is in regards to the top of the window...
As the garage opening is not load bearing (it is offset maybe a meter from the house), there is basically nothing above where the top of the window will be (as there is no lintel where the wall will be, it is a bit further back).
So, was wondering what the best option is from enlcosing the gap between the top of the window, and the wall.
would it would be best to just build a timber type frame, and add insulation, or are there specific items for this type of job?
