Holes in internal/external wall

Hi, I'm a new old-house owner. I'm attempting to do smaller jobs myself and unfortunately it's exposed at least one major issue.
I recently removed the old and very badly painted (multiple coats) skirting board. As I removed the board, some of the newer looking plaster moved/fell off and I'm left with exposed bricks, large holes and bricks that aren't fixed in place.
The main issue is that I have no idea what type of tradesperson to get in to fix the issue. Can anyone please recommend what to do with this mess? Photos attached.

Hi countrysnail,
You will need to employ a builder but due to the extensive area involved I would suggest you first get a building surveyor to examine the problem and suggest an appropriate method to stabilise the walls.
Don't start pulling bricks out or you may end up with a structural collapse.
Regards S
