Hi pepsiandcoke,
I've added a cross section of the chamber and modifications - hope this is clear.
If you could find a suitable bent pipe to insert in the side pipe then that would work but your chances of finding the right size and shape are remote. You would also have to find a way of fixing it permanently or it may fall out and block your drains.
You must thoroughly chisel the old haunching to remove soap residues and use a strong cement/fine sharp sand mix.
Regards S

Hi pepsiandcoke,
I've added the outline of a piece of gutter - it bottom edge sits in the half round clay. You will need to brace it in place and I suggest you use rapid setting sand/cement mix which will set in about 1 hour.
Regards, S.

Hi . Yes could maybe try that . Could get someone to hold it place first . But when flushed with tissue it might go above the guttering and hit middle of benching .if I flush without tissue water doesn’t seem to go on benching . If flush with tissue seems to shoot across onto benching

Hi Pepsiandcoke,
You could try the bend but I doubt it will fit in the space available. You could chisel out the haunching around the side pipe so you can fit the bend onto the pipe but you risk breaking the clay pipe.
Try it and see.
