Could somebody please advise me on a mdf laminate worktop cutout for an Aeg gas hob?

Our builder had over cut on two sides of hob cutout and without any apologies told us the cuts are of minimal importance and can be easily repaired with resin. He stated these errors are common and not a big deal.

I have some pics below.

Can the worktop be repaired or should I demand a new worktop?

Hi jazzy,
The builder has made a balls up of the job, filling with resin will never be satisfactory.
Insist that it replaced, preferably by a skilled kitchen fitter, I hope you haven’t paid up front.
