Whats the best solution for a ground and first floor maisonette which has mould issues where there are cold spots above which cannot be altered as a block of flats.
At the front on the property there is a communal outdoor walkway above which is felt lined but is cold and causes mould to develop on the ceilings beneath it. The same issue at the back of the flat where there is a balcony above and again above the bathroom where theirs is communal stairwell above. The freeholders have said they have laid felt on the external walkways above and the mould is due to the cold hitting the warm and there’s nothing else they can do externally and it’s an internal issue.
