by schnoo10 » Fri Mar 07, 2008 12:33 pm

Hi,

Im about to overboard our lounge lath & plaster ceiling. I was just wondering which thickness of plasterboard to use, 9.5mm or 12.5mm?
The joists are 1ft apart

Thanks :D

schnoo10,
Won't really make a great deal of difference, as already got one ceiling up.
Won't be much difference in price neither. Just make sure you choose the correct screw size, locate joist and be careful of electric cables and any pipework!
