Can anyone advise me please about cracking white paint?
I recently rubbed down and painted (oil based undercoat and topcoat) my (very well seasoned) wooden garage doors.
The doors are constructed with vertical tongue & groove wood and there is a U shaped gap between the wood strips.
I carefully painted into this gap and it all looked fine for about a month.
They have been in strong sunlight since painting.
However I have just noticed that there are tiny cracks appearing the paint in the U spaces.
Is there any way I can overcome this or should I just repaint the U spaces?
Any help or advice gratefully received.
