My garden has a bit of topsoil and is then basically beach. From 4 inches its just round pebbles just like on the beach 400 m away. Can anybody advise how to make a base for a patio?. I found with a fence post that after 4 inches you don,t dig you just scoop out the pebbles. Maybe they are good enough as a base? Thanks
