Macallister COD2000fls (Flip over saw) Blade alignment

Post by mdgibbs » Tue Oct 18, 2022 3:58 pm

Hi,
I recently had to replace the blade and drive belt on my saw. Since then the vertical alignment of the blade is about 1.5º out. In other words when the scale at the back of the machine says 0º the blade is actually about 1.5º. So I loosened the adjusting screw but with it completely slack I can't decrease the angle below 1.5º. The quadrant slot which the bevel lock moves in won't allow the bevel lock pin to go far enough in the clockwise direction.

If anyone has any ideas I'd be very grateful to hear them.

Many thanks.
Mike.
