I'm looking to get my property completely re-roughcast and have decided on both who I'm going with and the finish as I've seen it on another property that he's done. The reason for this post is that I've decided to hold off until the Spring due to it now getting into the colder months. My question is when would be the ideal time to get it done if you had the pick of the calendar year? I was originally thinking of April but since I stay in Scotland I thought that May or even June maybe a better bet and I could get it booked in just now. According to Wikipedia the average high for May is apparently 13 degrees C and the average low is just under 5 degrees C so I'm wondering whether I should hold off until June which has an average high of 15 C and an average low of just under 8 C. I've read that the recommended temperature should be above 5 degrees C. I don't know whether I'm being overly cautious. Any advice?
