scratches to laminate floor

by zoe honeyball » Sun Nov 25, 2007 10:30 am

Please help, after recently laying laminate floor from ikea in my living room, I was beginning to love the room. Sadly I moved a box my husband had left on the floor which had a loose screw underneath! As i dragged the box a good meter I now have a track mark which has removed the top layer of laminate in the middle of the floor.

Any suggestions could save my day!

Thanks [/b]

Hi Zoe,
sorry to be the bringer of bad news...Not much you can do with a scratch, chips can be repaired fairly well but not scratches....Candle lit dinner soft music and some wine, may soften the blow......

sorry..

ps..other option is to replace the boards if the flooring has not been down too long..
