Ok its a stupid question!

Its just that I want to build a wall along one side of the conservatory and this takes it over the 75% limit.

Unless I include the glass patio door!

Planning for conservatory

My local planning dept says no permission required if the conservatory has 75% glass.

Can anyone tell me if this includes the patio doors from the house?

This is a DIY project and a half!

this is obviously a tricky one as no one here is able to advise... it is the last job to do now as all else is done and looking pretty good...even if i do say so myself :)

cutting ceramic sink pedestal.

not strictly a tiling problem, but i am fitting the bathroom and tiling. i am fitting the sink and i have found that a pipe is slightly out of place and the semi pedestal for the sink will not quite fit by about 1/2 inch. i cannot move the pipe without major upset, so, my question for the experts is...

thank god for that.. and thank you for posting your advice :) i have gone ahead and sealed it but not yet tiled that area..hoping for someone to give the advice you have just provided. next time i will make sure to check if the material is suitable for the job [b]before[/b] using it... thanks again

is mdf safe to use at the end of a bath if well sealed with unibond sealer before tiling over using waterproof adesive and wetroom grouting?. :? i have already put the mdf up and would not like to have to rip it out to put hardboard in as recomended on this forum..i have enough to do without that......

thanks for that..it was the hot water valve as you said, i have now put a new one in and all is now well at this stage...now to move on to the tiling :roll:
