It looks like that sleeve was taken out by the cowboys who installed my kitchen but I think they and the grills only cost a couple pounds.

old extractor fan hole in outer wall - help!

Hi I've recently had a new kitchen fitted together with a new extractor fan that is not hooked up to the vent on the out side wall (as I later realised). Thanks guys. I decided to get a sparky in to do the job after all, as in my case the D in DIY stands for distroy.

The plastic thing that holds the bulb in place has broken

Hi,

You know that cheap looking plastic thing that holds the bayonet style bulb in place (I have no idea what the experts call it). I broke it in two as I was replacing the bulb.

Can some one please tell me if it's easily replaced and how?
