Stoneyboy!!!! You are a genius. That's exactly the issue. It won't tighten up enough to clamp the seal together. I tried to put two washers in to help but that was a rubbish idea. Can you recommend a longer waste otherwise I will just have a look next time I am in the shop. Alternatively I could cut...

Wits end - bathroom trap leaking

I have a brass plug waste and am connecting it to a low profile trap but I can’t stop the trap leaking. It leaks just below the collar. I have tried 4 traps now so I don’t know what to do. Chasing cavity wall for pipes in bathroom

I am chasing our bathroom wall to run the water pipes up it (22mm). The wall looks to be a standard cavity wall made of 100mm deep blocks. I am finding it very difficult chasing this out. Thanks for the response. We are mains fed and the pressure is good so will stick with 15mm.
