Lamp post

Hi, There is a lamp post in the pavement outside my house, unfortunately it overlaps the drive making it very difficult to park two cars on the drive, also it is partially positioned within my boundary. Cellar modernisation/conversion

Hi, I am intending to make my cellar a usable room, it is approximately 3.5mx3.5m and has a coal shoot to which I can fit a window and use as an emergency exit, the cellar is dry. The floor needs to be replaced and the walls will be batoned and plaster boarded. Can anyone tell me if I need building ...

Cellar floor

Hi, I am in the same situation, I am under the impression though (which I want to confirm) that it is perfectly ok to dig down to the bottom brick and replace with concrete, which can be on a dpm directly on the soil, therefore it might be possible to increase the head room
