Levelling concrete floor for thermal boards and underfloor heating

I'm just about to level a concrete floor ready for thermal boards for underfloor heating. After taking up the old tile floor there's a number of holes around 3-4cm deep roughly 5 -10cm diameter. I've got levelling compound that can go this deep, but should I patch them with something else first. Or ...
