Thanks for responding. The tap allows up to 5 bar. I did consider mains pressure and whether a PRV next to the stopcock might help. Whats the most accurate way I can measure pressure? Do I need a specialist piece of equipment?

New bathroom sink and monoblock mixer tap noise

Hi, We've recently had a new sink fitted in the bathroom with a monoblock mixer tap and it is extremely noisy, kind of like a blowtorch sound and you can hear it all over the house. It's much worse on half open and when it's fully open the noise goes away (almost). Cold water is really bad, hot not ...
