Hi, We are having our bathroom re-done and were told the floor will need to be re-enforced to support the weight of the tiles, that was advised after they cut notches that were half of the depth of the existing joists. Deep notches in joists

Hi, We are getting a new bathroom fitted and as part of the work is changing the plumbing. Notches have been made into the joists, but they look too deep, they are half the depth of the joists.
