Repairing garden swing - wood/guidance

Dear all,

Gardener here, can do basic bits and bobs around the house...

How do I go about repairing the roof of this swing?
What wood should I use? Also, is it worth me investing in a nail gun?

Not sure if screwing down will be a good idea...

Hi makingalife It is very likely that condensation will always be there in varying degrees. It looks like neither of the house walls have flashing cut into the brickwork and you do not say whether a DPM is present in the floor. Suggest you plan for a damp storage area. Fixing leak coming down pipe in small lean to

Hi all, We had a small lean to constructed. Generally all is ok, I fixed most problems my self but I am stuck here. Water continues to leak through, and comes down on the pipe... What can I do about this? Internally / Externally...? Happy to buy and hopefully easy enough to DIY... THanks lean to.jpg...

Thanks, I have 2 small vents but I think I need to add more vents on the side to get more fresh air in.

Will condensation always be a problem?
