Thanks for your response,I have now cut into main at a different point between ceiling rose and smoke alarm and everything seems ok.

Installing light in loft using Quickwire splitter System

Hi,I am installing a led light in the loft using the quickwire splitter and switch and load connectors,but have found out that the lighting wiring circuit is 3 core and earth but the quickwire boxes only connect 2 core and earth,so would I have to connect the black wire independently? many thanks in...
