Look at the site Uswitch.com. It will give you suppliers in your area.

British Gas as a field sales advisor use a map of the suppliers in each area so that they are aware of the competitiors before i knocked the door.

I brought a holiday home in India. I just discovered today that they has been a break in. I'm considering buying a alarm but house alarms are rarely used in punjab.

If i brought a alarm system from the UK will it work in India ?

I understand that a tarrif is the unit of energy you consume but why is certain tarrifs cheaper then other's for the same supplier ?

I think British Gas have six tarrifs.

surely n power and british gas pay the same amount for gas an electricity. Then how do they reduce costs to the customer ? does it depend on the profit they make.

The more they make the more they can afford to reduce costs

Basics of gas and electric suppliers

People allways ask which is the best from the two suppliers British gas or N power but i have been told it depends on the area, circumstances and what tarrifs you have.

What does this mean, can somone explain ?
