I want to make a small vocal booth by using a PVC frame to hang acoustic blankets on, then wrapping the top in another blanket. I might double the blankets, or use mass-loaded vinyl instead. Would hanging MLV work, or does it have to be attached to a sturdy wall? That would also get heavy, would PVC...
