I've replaced one before, but there was some kind of mechanism that locked the seat down onto the upright bolts, and to unlock it, there was a catch that you could push sideways, and then the seat just lifted off. Toilet seat - how to remove?

Hi, Has anyone seen this type of toilet seat and able to advise, please?. It's wobbly and needs removing/replacing/tightening - but I cannot see, for the life of me, how to get it off. There are no bolts protruding underneath, so it is some kind of top fitting, but unlike one that I have come across...

@stoneyboy - Thank you so much and I cannot BELIEVE I didn't spot that!!!! I didn't for one minute think that 'mark' on the fitting could be a split, and I'd been concentrating so much on the thread/tape. Pretty sure that's the issue, as I can push a nail into into that 'mark', so I'll get a new one...

Hi all - I've just replaced a u-bend under the kitchen sink with a kit, and am having a job fitting it to the bottom of the sink without leaks.
