OK I moved the SL to the COM socket in the switch but that has had no effect to the functioning of the fan. The fan will still only start when the light is switched on. As per the initial posting I'm seeking to nagate the Need for the light switch to impact a live feed constantly feeding the fan. Th...

OK Great..

So what is the red wire in L1 and the red wire in COM?

so when I move the SL to COM that then will mean the PL feed will be A constant to the fan and it will be able to run fan independently of whether light switch is on or off l.
