hi eric, i do have the ability to run a new ring main, as all the floor oards are up and the room i wish to have the switches in, is next to the garage, so i could run the cable straight thru to the garage, and to the existing C/U. I am trying to avoid having cables outside, as much as is practible ...

well, thanks for the info, i'm just trying to get the cable sorted inside the house - ie, from the c/U in the garage, through the house to the back, so whilst the floorboards are up, tried to save a little time.

hello I have just had a new central heating system put in, and have insulated the pipes downstairs with circular foam. Is it best to insulate the upstairs pipes as well ? hi,
i am in th eprocess of renewing my kitchen. Basically, elctrically, nothing is going to happen (ideally), but I want to reposition my sink, and possibly my oven. Is there a set distance these have to be away from sockets ?
