brown fungus behind tiled wall in bathroom

I have found brown fungal type stuff growing behind tiles on an outside wall. I have removed the tiles and fungus what should I do next? do i need to treat it..........battons very wet, have replaced these and plasterboard but before i do this how do i treat the walls?

brown fungus growing behind tiles in bathroom

:? I have discovered a brown fungus growing behind tiled wall in bathroom. I have removed the tiles.......very damp behind, plasterboard very wet and just crumbled as tiles came off. I have taken all of the tiles and plasterboard off... battons holding plasterboard v wet and rotten so I have removed...
