Changing TRV Valve as Conflicting with Room Thermostat

We need to change our radiator valve which is TRV on the rad which is in same room as wall thermostat so we have been advised as theyre conflicting against each other...however what do we put in place of it a manual valve?

dont want skirting in bathroom?

We want to tile our bathroom to the floor but we won't be tiling the floor as wooden floor not suitable as previous tiles cracked over time..we plan to use quality vinyl flooring but not sure what finish will look like when the 2 meet as we dont want skirting board any suggestions?

The room itself was the living room originally ,so thats why the stat is in there, the previous owners moved the living area to the back of the bungalow hence the bedroom has the stat...moving the stat is not an option for obvious reasons, the hall is quite small anyway and has a rad and the living ...

thermostat on wall with TVR'S

We have TVR's fitted and a wall stat..i have just read elsewhere you should'nt have wall stat in same room as TVR.Notice we have to keep going in bedroom to turn up wall stat when temp drops ( not ideal place for stat but was already there ) whats best solution because i want the TVR's to regulate t...

musty earthy smell coming through carpets

we have a nasty earthy musty smell coming up through carpets it's not carpet itself but if you get down you can smell it at certain spots like where carpet joins in doorway and skirting area...would it be a good idea to add some more airbricks as could this be not enough air circulating under wooden...

cold air causing mildew

We have an on going problem with our bungalow with one wall in our bedroom we have renovated evrywhere but the same problem has remained with this wall, the carpet and chest of drawers has green mildew and the skirting and wall area develops black spores which i am forever cleaning with bleach solut...
