OK thanks for the info, The cylinder stat is obviously designed without a temp dial, and is set through the programmer via the smartfit system.

Basically looking at the cylinder stat there dosn't like like much can go wrong with it, so i'm a bit reluctant to buy another in case it's something else.

Domestic Hot Water is too Hot

The water from the hot water taps is coming out too hot, after running it for a while it is scalding. I have a Honeywell heating/hotwater programmer and even when the water temperature is set at it's lowest temp which is 40c, the water is still too hot.
