ceiling light

hi there as ive now seen there are two black wires two red one green so what do i join the colours to as on the light fitting i joined two reds together to a brown green to green/yellow and two blacks to the blue it came on but would not turn off the red wires each have a black wire please help

hi there ive just tried to fit the light but it blew a fuse there is a red wire agreen wire and two black wires coming from the ceiling on the light that im fitting is a blue wire a brown wire and a green and yellow wire but it has not been attached to anything do i need to screw it to apart of the ...
