manhole cover/pipe positions

I am preparing the ground for a deck area in my back garden and have exposed a manhole cover that I never knew was there (someone at some point had covered in about 8 inches of soil when levelling an area of the garden) My problem is I need to place a post in that area to support the decking and am ...

cleaning up exterior red brick (old paint remanant/debris)

I thought a rather simple problem would not take me so much time researching! I am struggling to find someone or some business that specialize in cleaning up red brick. I live in Northern Ireland and that often presents bigger challenges that when I lived in England. Some idiot who owned this proper...

wirewool or abrasive paper inbetween coats?

There appear to be different thoughts on this across the net and I have no idea which to choose. Also after fine sanding (de-nibbing i th...

BATHROOM FAN

Hi,

I need to buy an inline bathroom extractor fan. I seen a few around but the reviews by customers who have bought them are not great. I would love some recommendations that have been tried and tested.

Many Thanks
