Rcd when there isn't an earth

[color=red][/color] i'm supplying my garage with electricity but there isn't an rcd on my house cu so i was going to take a feed off my spare 16 amp mcb to a 16 amp RCD directly under my house cu then 4mm2 swa to the garage. the only thing is there is no evidence of any form of earth at the incoming...

can anyone recommend a tester for domestic installations? what are alphatech like? it's going for about 435, is that good?

just wanna b a sparky

i want to start up on my own,

i have done 2330 for 2 years passed all exams, going in for my 16th then i am going to register with niceic. is this enough???

what else do u recommend i get to be able to have no restrictions to what i can do?
