Hot water control

When I switch my hot water off at the programmer, the pump sometimes keeps running, and I have to push the "reset" button at the boiler control panel to stop the pump. How do I tell whether the fault is with the motorised valve or the programmer ? Thanks.

Thanks for both your replies. I have investigated further and decided to replace the bath as well as the washbasin. The bath outlet is also in lead and joins the washbasin outlet and the combined lead pipe goes into the horizontal upper end of the cast iron downpipe under the eaves, and is reasonabl...

Central Heating piping

I have just bought a house with microbore CH pipes which are 20 yrs old. Do these pipes have an operational life span, and should I change to 15mm piping?
