scrim

when putting up scrim on plasterboard joints ..would it be ok just to pva the scrim on the joint ..let it set ..and than plaster over it ....would this have any long term effects ....??? any help

Ripples in PLaster

been plastering a dining room ...everything was fine the plastering looked fine ....even when it had dried no problems ...but when it was painted you could see ripples on it ...ujst wondered why this would be ..when all my prep was ok ...??? any help on this issue
