No it's a soakpit for the storm drains ..sinks,showers etc. Anyway after much head scratching and plunging last night , i think i've narrowed it down to the soakpit entrance ...which unfortunately runs for about 60 ft beneath the garden .I think the entrance from the Wavin has got gunged up and bloc...

Caustic Soda ?
I've got a similar problem and i'm going to take a two pronged approach tonight.I'm going to use a toilet bowl wavin adapter in the shore to plunger it but i'm also going to give it some caustic soda in boiling water :?

I get the exact same problem now and again. It's not so bad now but it used to be really bad. What i did was reseal around the toilet bowl outlets via the wavin adapter. On a couple of them the rubber seal was slightly crooked and this was enough to make it bad. I still get it now and again and even...

Newbie needs help

Hi all I'm new to the forums but i hope i'll be able to help out with some problems in here......but for now i need help with one myself. I'm getting a foul smell in two en suite bathrooms at one side of my house only.I've got a soakpit that the drains go into but i think the entry point is blocked ...
