Shrubs for a large area

Looking for a bit of advice.....

Need to fill and area of 20m x 2m with shrubbery and was thinking of using hebe for pretty low maintenance all year round colour.....

Any alternative suggestions as to what to use or cheap shrubs that would do the job?

Weed killer

Hoping someone can help.....

I have a sprayer but don't want to be forking out for "round up" every time i need to fill it.....can anyone advise of a weedkiller which is effective and reasonably priced - i will be using quite a bit over the course of a year so am happy to buy in bulk.

Hopefully a very quick question and answer.....

I know that the joists for a decking structure should be set approx 0.5m apart however at what intervals along the joist should it be supported by posts?

Where abouts can i get this and how much is it?

Laying a set of decorative flags around the perimeter of my lawn onto a sharp sand base and have been advised to use this polymeric sand between the flags...

Advice please..... I'm tackling a lawn which is rather uneven, nothing to serious that would warrant starting again from afresh however would be gratfeul for some tips... Am i best to try and roll it and then seed it, or apply a levelling top soil direct to the truf and then roll it, or something el...

i'm about to returf a significant area of what is currently borders. any ideas.... i need a weed killere that will kill off weeds that are growing around the base of shrubs/trees without killing off the actual shrub/tree. I need to do this on a large scale and have seen people with the large packs on their backs doing this......need to know what they use!! Any help w...
