Socket Problem

I am due to fit a socket in a staff room kitchen which is simple enough. The only problem is that there only appears to be one DP socket and a spur attached to it. I'm assuming this must be a radial but frustratingly for me it is not listed on the Diistribution board. The cables are 2.5mm so it is e...

thats was extremely vague wasn't it. Its actually the small single core white cable that goes from the ballast to the flourescent tubes. Is it 0.5mm?

Ballast Cable

Can anyone tell me what the description is of the cable that you connect a ballast to a lamp with? Looking for size and type . thanks
