just been told by valuer that chimney breast removed in my flat has not been secured and in danger of comming down, this should have been picked up when I first bought property but was not so I will have to see to , what do i do and how do i do it and how much will it cost help please.

I have been quoted £500 for a doubleglazed unit measuring 130cmx144cm with side and top openings is this reasonable dont want to go ahead if this is really unreasonable!!

I bought all new taps for my Bathroom WC 7years ago from XandX now they need to be replaced all cracked and broken causing leaks and hard to clean, can any one advise a make and approx price I would need to pay for good quality?? Thanks :cry:

timber sopports around 4X4in have been in place several years but have large splits in and still oozing sap, what can I do to make good.

Small section on concret has broken away from timber uprights supporting porch, post have concrete forming a 'collar' around the base of the supports. can i get a adhesive that will bind concrete?

How do i tell if neighbours fence is on my garden or have they stayed on their own land, its just a 4ft fence made of concrete i need to extend the height for security reasons but as they have built there brick workshop and conservatory on to the boundary the fence position leaves no room for my new...

:( Ex tenant has left severe water leak problem in kitchen seems to be caused by an unknown device attached to cold water pipe , it a small cylinder with "lime clear" printed on it attached to pipe badly or incorrectly and spewing out water, any one tell me what its for, thanks
