Laminate Not Flush

Laminate flooring needs expansion on all sides or the boards will be put under tension and the tension results in the floor rising (much like an air bubble) If an area is trapped under units then make sure that you still leave rom for the floor to expand.

Laminate floor rising

This is usually because there has been no expansion gap around the edge of the flooring, the gap allows the laminate to expand and contract. This is important particularly when the floor is subject to direct 'spot' sunlight.
Other causes are localised excess damp.
