Ok, thanks for that, i think i'll just go for the plasterboard option, i was just a bit wary as its a bathroom with steam etc, and my plastering is mince.

Hi, I'm tiling my bathroom in my 80 year old house, i need to even up the concrete walls as removing the old tiles has also removed the top coat of plaster.
