Thanks for the reply. The layout I had (Boiler, vent pipe , f&E pipe, pump in that order) seemed to be quoted by most people as the optimum layout, however the amount of water that was being pumped into the tank was full bore 22mm flow - I even thought there was a blockage in the pipe between th...

If the pump keeps running when the programmer is turned off it is most probably the microswitch in the pump is still closed. The next time it happens, check to see the position of the valve when the programmer is off - this should be possible by looking at the auto/manual lever on the side of the va...
