Roughcast or scraped texture?

My plasterer quoted me £2200 for wetdashing my walls but when he's put the sample on the wall, it's a lot rougher than i expected. I've just looked at some other options and I quite like Textured scrape. Is there any disadvantage to that and should it be cheaper or more expensive? Any help much appr...

I've got a crack the whole length of my floor....

Help. How did it happen? We only tiled last year and the tile is on top of Marmox boards and we used flexible adhesive and grout. The marmox is on wood so it was stuck down as well as screwed down. My prat of a joiner has upped and left me with a space of 34

My joiner has upped and left me with a space of 34 inches for an internal door but I thought stops had to be about 25mm and the regs say the door has to be 33 inches. I don't know what to do. Can anyone help?
