Thanks Sparx can i therefore connect it via a "cooker main switch" type socket? i.e. those sockets that have a big red switch and a socket right next to it. The reason i am asking is that i plan to fit the heater close to a double electric socket and was thinking of using that as the main ...

Connecting a storage heater

hi,
is it ok/safe if connect a storage heater by simply fitting it with a heavy duty plug and inserting it into a conventional electric wall socket?

yes i did - but i could not locate one that specifically tackles my problem. i did read the project called "How to fit a bathroom" but i found it a bit too generic.

if you can tell me which projects to look at, that will be great.

many thanks in advance

regards

Bathroom wall paint vs conventional emulsion

Hi,
i was wondering whether it is worth bothering using bathroom paint to paint the bathroom walls or whether i can just make do with conventional wall paint.
does it really make a difference?
many thanks

Curtain rods and plaster wall

Hi, I would like to hang a curtain against a plaster wall. Before i started drilling i used a metal detector to make sure that i do not drill into any live wires. i am getting a signal that tells me that underneath the plaster wall there is metal and it surrounds the perimeter of the window. I suspe...
