I've got a pair of Goodmans 4214S Speakers (30 Watts) and due to repositioning their cables are too short to reach the amp. The wires go straight into the back with no terminal block. The water may have caused a shrt circuit that has heated up the wires feeding the light and caused them to short out or melt or at least to become damaged. You should try to test the feed to the light fitting. you might have to put a new length of lighting cable in.

You could try installing CyberLink PowerCinema 4 and using that with your card. I had faulty software with my TV card i bought so see if the helps.

Its a tough problem alright, but the problem is not with space. it sounds like a software problem. i.e. sumthing is restricting the broadband speed.
