Bolt size conversion

Something I bought came with standard hex head bolts. I want to replace these with countersunk head ones. I can't figure out what M3, M4 etc stand for on the ones I am looking to purchase. The provided bolts have YZ 4.8 written on them. Any clue what this refers to or how to convert?

could anyone tell me whether it is possible to cut silver ducting hose along its length in order to place it around an existing pipe. my downstairs loo is having a spaceship makeover (don't ask) so it would only be for cosmetic purposes and really i just need to know whether or not it would hold it'...

I need to fit skirting board in one of my room.
