has anyone got any views on inductions hobs.
I like to cook with gas and have heard that these hobs heat up just as quickly but are easier to clean etc,
and what kind of pans do you need to use on them

does anyone know much about induction hobs. would like to get one for my new kitchen. i have heard they heat up as quick as gas. is this true. and where can i get the special pans needed for the hob.

Fitting uPVC bi-fold/sliding doors to extension

Am thinking of fitting upvc bi-fold/sliding doors to extension. have been told I will need to fit a beam to carry the weight of them, but does anyone know how long lasting these doors are. some double glazing companies won't fit or garantee them.

So are you saying that putting the sockets in a house at 3ocm is ok. I will need a completion certificate at the end of all the work being carried out.

thanks for your replies. I have now been told that the certificate can still be given if they are placed at 30cm from the floor!! I personally think that 45cm from the floor is too high and doesn't look right after viewing a new build for ideas. But I don't want to put it at 30 and then have to chan...

Looking for help! if the bottom of electrical sockets are placed 30mm from the floor will they be passed for the certificate.
