hi i laid a engineered real oak floor last summer and used 30 mm brads and glue to put them down it still look great but my problem is that in parts it has started to creek really bad so much so that i really feel like ripping it up it cost a lot of money has anyone got any ideas how i can solve thi...

hi i have a vertical tubed radiator in my bathroom wich measures 1700mm x 400mm it has 9 vertical tubes on but every couple of days only the first 4 tubes get hot its ok when i bleed it but it gets more air in it a couple of days later why is this ? and is there anything i can do about it thanks for...

drilling holes in porcalain tiles

hi ive just laid some porcalain tiles in my bathroom but i am strugling to drill holes in them so i can fix my toilet ive tried masonary bits and tile bits but they just spin round and hardly make a mark has anyone got any ideas please thanks for any advise stevey

hi thanks gardnico have looked through projects but cant seem to find anything need some advise on how to get a smoother finish dont want to get to much of a textured finish once agian thanks for any advise given

hi ive got a problem with my kitchen ceiling after the so called plasterer rode off into the sunset with my hard earned cash he left it all draged and scratched after putting a coat of pva and a couple of coats of kitchen paint it looks a right mess has anybody got any idea what i can do to get a go...

removed rad now one stays cold

hi i recentley removed a radiator from the kitchen and put stop ends on the pipes but when i put central heating on all rads got hot except the one in my back room even the pipes stay cold the system is a flow and return thanks for any advise stevey
