Thanks it is a fairly old system not a combi.
where would I add the descaler or noise reducer?

central heating

when my boiler has heated the water or heating to the required temp it obviously cuts out until required again but as it does so it sounds like an airplane coming into land ie very noisy.
can anybody help please

replace shelf in kitchen cupboard

Replacing shelf in fitted unit.
I have recently removed a double built in oven and replaced it with a single oven.
can I use mdf to make a shelf to sit the new oven on and so raise it by approx 6 ins
