my boiler cycles on and off every 30secs on hot water and central heating, had british gas out to look at it and they reckon its because the system is blocked with iron oxide in the pipes, causing a restriction in flow. He recomended a £600 ish clean of the system with a presure tool. i was thinking...
yeah it was the same before the service. fitted a new temp sensor stat today (goes on the outlet water pipe on the left hand side, the higher of the two) clips to the water pipe one end and is the boiler controls the other end. na it was easy, i only watched but the top soliniod part was only cliped or screwed on to the T section which has the valve in. on my one there is no chance of it leaking, the water stays in the T section of pipe, there is a little lever that pokes out and the soliniod part moves the lever. the soli...
