cheers that sounds good advice, i'll give it a go, do you think its worth fitting the adey magnaclean filter to the system to help clean it out.
found one for £100.

adey magnaclean removing iron oxide

my boiler cycles on and off every 30secs on hot water and central heating, had british gas out to look at it and they reckon its because the system is blocked with iron oxide in the pipes, causing a restriction in flow. He recomended a £600 ish clean of the system with a presure tool. i was thinking...

yeah it was the same before the service. fitted a new temp sensor stat today (goes on the outlet water pipe on the left hand side, the higher of the two) clips to the water pipe one end and is the boiler controls the other end. But its still the same. :cry: any idea were on the net i can get the man...

please help, my "british gas f2" potterton boiler keeps cycleing every 30 secs or so. central heating~ from cold the boiler will stay on fine untill the return pipe to boiler is up to temp (all rads warm) then will cut out as it should. now the problem starts as the boiler will turn on for...

i was worried about it causing weakness in the garage or structual proplems, especially as its deep in places.

na it was easy, i only watched but the top soliniod part was only cliped or screwed on to the T section which has the valve in. on my one there is no chance of it leaking, the water stays in the T section of pipe, there is a little lever that pokes out and the soliniod part moves the lever. the soli...
